My goal as a public speaker is to inspire an audience, advocate for current ideas, and communicate as a leader. I choose my words carefully, such that they are both accurate in describing the purpose, function, and reasoning of the message, and also so the audience can fully appreciate the impact of what is being proposed. To date, I have presented, discussed, and taught topics of mental health in numerous workshops and events. Some of which are listed below.

Speaker, Chapman University, 2017.

Speaker/lecture for Chapman University’s abnormal psychology students on the topic of medication-induced mania, and occurrences of over-prescribing psychotropic medications within the mental health system.

Speaker, Suicide Prevention Charity Walk, 2016.

Speaking event for approximately 1,500 in attendance. I spoke on the topic of post-traumatic stress disorder and the rehabilitating effects of self-care. Presented real-life applications of current findings on mental health as it relates to individuals with depression.

Speaker, Suicide Prevention Charity Walk, 2015.

Approximately 1,100 in attendance. Main stage speaking event on the topic of the therapeutic value of maintaining hope and endurance during instances of depression and suicidality. Presented real-life applications of current findings on mental illness and suicide prevention as it relates to individuals with depression and suicidality.
